Ludlow Addition
Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.
A 2,000 square foot Federal style row house had its family of five bursting at the seams in terms of storage and every day functionality. Our scope included a rear addition to the home which allowed us to create both a breakfast room and mudroom in one space while adorning the home with new architectural elements, lighting and furnishings throughout the main level. Matching and adding to the existing cabinetry in the kitchen, we were able to create another moment of pause and warmth with the new butcher block peninsula and seating. The open concept living and entry spaces are now perfectly defined and equipped with the everyday functional elements this modern family needed.
